Abstract : The concept of λ-statistical convergence was introduced by Mursaleen [9]. Recently, the concept of statistical convergence was extended on probabilistic normed spaces by S. Karakus [11]. It seems therefore reasonable to study the concept of λ-statistical convergence on probabilistic normed spaces and observe that some basic properties are also preserved on probabilistic normed spaces. We also give a useful characterization for λ-statistically convergent sequences in probabilistic normed spaces.
