Abstract
:
This study will be conducted at Hada El-Shame Agric. Exp. Station to determine the best Sesame cultivar with the best N-fertilizer rate to produce the highest seed yield, yield components and oil content from Sesame crop under the Makkah region. Split plot design with four replications will be use in this study, where 4 Nitrogen rates (0, 100, 150 and 200 kg N/ha) are the main treatments, while the three Sesames cultivars (Local, Egyptian and Sudanese cultivars) are the sub plot treatments. The study will be conducted at the Agricultural Experimented Station, King Abdul-Aziz University at Hada El-sham during 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 seasons, to determine the best sesame cultivar with the best nitrogen fertilizer rate to produce the highest seed and oil yields in Makkah region.
