Abstract |
: |
Arabic is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. The Arabic content on the World Wide Web varies widely, but this content may not amount to that available in many other non-Arabic content. The present study aims to identify the most important problems of the presence of Arabic digital content on the web, to know the role of Arabic language and its characteristics in these problems, and to know the role of copyright and numbering legislation, and to know the role of the Arab industry for digital content through knowledge of information and communication infrastructure and computerization. , Available to the Arab user at the level of broadcast, search or communication, in addition to suggesting ways to support content by addressing the problems of his presence and review some important projects on the Arab digital content on the Internet. The study relied on the analytical analysis of the previous studies conducted in the subject to determine the current status of the Arabic digital content on the Internet. One of the most important results of the study was that the Arabic language is characterized by structural, grammatical and spelling properties. The general features of the Arabic texts on the global spider were reviewed and some of their structural characteristics were reviewed. The study found that the Arab digital content of most Arab sites is weak due to its rich content and lack of content for diversity, and the tyranny of texts on other audio and video content. As well as the lack of cooperation between Arab countries in the manufacture of digital content sites and the lack of investment in content, and not to put the Arab digital content as a strategic goal. As well as lack of site management and operation due to weak management of sites and lack of modernization and design methods. The problems of competing cultures, languages and other information systems have emerged through two axes: the translation gap, which increases the importance of scientific translation, and the criteria for preparing Arabic content to enrich its presence in the digital environment. The existence of Arab initiatives to support the digital Arabic content appear individually, whether at the institutional or international level does not guarantee the integrated activation to support the Arabic digital content and continuity of performance in them. Moreover, Arabic digitization was concerned only with Arab and Islamic heritage, rather than enriching and supporting Arab intellectual production in the various fields of knowledge and modern intellectual production. |
