Abstract : The study aims to identify the awareness of Saudi business and business leaders in the cities of Makkah and Jeddah in the importance of strategic information. A questionnaire was distributed to twenty officials, which resulted in the following terms being used: In the Saudi companies, when collecting information, the study found that the degree of knowledge of the companies' managers in these terms is medium, that the partial information collected is few, that the information culture is not widely distributed among them and that there is no statistically significant relationship between any level Awareness of environmental survey concepts and levels of information gathering behavior The behavior of information gathering by managers has not been affected by the quality of environmental survey concepts and by the absence of differences in the behavior of aggregation of information of all three types between large and small enterprises.
