The interest in spells and amutes has been increased in our islamic societies between supporters and dissentings: supporters believe of its usefullness in healling and improving poeple lives; dissentings evaluate its legitimacy and examine people’s attachment and belief in it in a regressive way that should get rid of it.In this research, we're not going to legitimate amutles and spells, but to clarify this aspect inJudaism and Christianity and how some of their reciters had been afffected directly or indirectly by Muslim .
The search has examined some Jewish spells such as the use of water and salt, incense, psalms and prayers in the treatment and expulsion of the devil. In some of their ways , we've been shown some of the historical origins of spells and amulets and whether they are indigenous or exotic. Moreover, spell in christianity is known as the secret swab of patients and it is one of the church's secrets. On the other hand, the Jewish amulets are : Altivilin, Almzzouzah, Almnurah, trumpet, six-pointed star, the golden calf, idolatry, ephod. Muslims have been affected by these practices and its uses in spells or in clearing the evil spirits as they claimed by using such practices. However, they used them in two ways: wearing these amutles or reciting the spells on their daily life, leaving what came in the Islamic law doctorines regarding their uses and practices. |
