This study investigates the positions in which Sheikh Mahmoud Mohammed Shaker differs in his opinion with ancient critics and linguists’ sayings, then I have classified, studied, interpreted , and analyzed these positions, as well as, the objective was enlarging upon the saying in a neglected aspect by previous studies in which Sheikh has received criticism.
The study consisted of two chapters after the introduction and preface, where the preface presents Shiekh Shaker’s life and his scientific foundation, in addition, he established his Tasting approach and its relation with contemplation in formers’ approach. The first chapter includes the linguistic issues related to grammatical issues and semantics. The study investigated Shaker’s methodology in checking the meaning of words and dealing with dictionaries, as well as, discussing the grammatical meanings through poetry and solving these issues upon the evidences of Arabs’ Sayings.
The second chapter studies the critical and rhetorical topics. This chapter includes the issues in which Sheikh Shaker disagrees with critics and the critical terms which he created. In this chapter, the researcher discussed the issues and the results of study upon the opinions of formers and subsequent scholars to indicate Shaker's methodology in treating the issue. In relating with the critical terms, the term has been interpreted, as well as, presenting its concept in critical heritage to reach the original difference between terms.
The research concluded the following results:
Checking the semantic meaning of words is the first step in Shaker's methodology and the way to discover the mistake, as well as, Shaker created meanings upon Arabs' sayings, which are not listed in the dictionaries, and that is a great addition, for example, the context is the first reference for understanding the phenomena and it is the dictum in any difference, as well as, his methodology produced critical terms for studied phenomena in our heritage, in addition, the difference of term is a result of the difference in opinion and way of treatment. |
