This study deals with the difficulties faced by the Arabic learners from the
Turkish people in both skills reading and writing. It also aims to specify out the
most common difficulties and the reasons behind them, and tries to show some
suitable solutions to solve them, based on two tools the Observation and error
analysis and the questionnaire, then, it gives analysis and explanations for the
reasons of these difficulties, in addition, there is a suggestion for some methods
of treatment to overcome them.
The study concluded several results, that’s to say the most important of which are
the difficulties in reading among the Arabic learners of the Turkish people in the
skill of reading in the following areas: the vocal aspects, grammatical aspects and
difficulties in spelling. The difficulties of writing were because of dictation and
vocalization. It was found through the sample of the research that the difficulty
of differentiating between the converging sounds Pronunciation is the most
common difficulty in reading and writing.
Therefore, the research recommends the provision of language labs and
activation, with limited use of the classical Arabic in the classroom, and try to
increase the linguistic output of students by activating the role of library and
reading, in addition to the rehabilitation of teachers training courses that raise
their proficiency in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, This will depend on
the reciprocal approach in teaching Arabic to the Turks, and all these
recommendations will reduce the difficulties faced by non-native Arab learners
in general and Turkish in specific. |
