The book of the hospitality for the destined for Umm Al-Qura,
written by Imam Abu al-Abbas Muhib al-Din al-Tabari Al-
Shafi'i al-Makki, is a book which most of its scientific material
is related to the precepts of the rituals, which also deals with
historical topics, such as the construction of the sacred house
and its first builders, all the points related to The Black Stone,
The Yamani Corner, The Station of Abraham (Ibrahim), the
enclosure of Isma'il, and all the related Merits and Hadiths, the
Hadiths of those who toured/roamed this house of angels and
messengers is included as well. At the End of the book, the
author spoke about the two Holy Mosques and all the related
names, virtues and precepts, all the related landmarks and
mosques. He also spoke about Jerusalem and its merits, the
author divided this book to forty sections, each of which
contains many chapters. The author arranged these sections
according to the rites and rituals of Hajj. The author introduces
each chapter of the book by mentioning many Hadiths and
proverbs (quotations), he then explains the difficult terms and
comments on the Hadiths and quotations indicating the most
important provisions and questions concluded thereof. He
also mentions the sayings of some religious scholars and their
different views on some issues, he then gives preponderance
to some of these sayings briefly and concisely. One of my main
works related to this thesis is that I have founded these
Hadiths, quotations and provisions. I also referred/attributed
to the religious scholar's sayings which is mentioned by the
author to the approved jurisprudence books in all the
denominations . I have documented the author's explanations
for the difficult terms referring to the Language and difficult
jargon/terms books. I also documented the places mentioned
by the author in his book, showed their modern positions and
contemporary description and commented on the quotations
of the author related to some issues. The part covered by the
study is from the beginning of the book to the end of the
fifteenth section, which equals half the book. The thesis was
divided into two parts; The first part contains important
introductions that address the author, his scientific life, his
book, the adopted sources and its merits. The second part is
related to the study of the book and its exploration. |
